Donors
Calvin Edwards & Company
serves thoughtful, high-capacity donors with customized services to help ensure their generosity is as effective as it can be. Using comprehensive, detailed research and analysis, we provide highly reliable reports containing information, perspective, and judgment. Grantmakers rely on these products for information and guidance as they make decisions to fund organizations and programs that create significant impact.

We serve the philanthropy-related needs of:

Affluent individuals & families
Private foundations
Family offices
Businesses
Government agencies that make grants to nonprofits
Other grantmakers

Our clients give out of current income, donor-advised funds, privately held assets, foundations, corporate profits, and public funds. Generally, clients donate at least several hundred thousand dollars annually, and many focus their giving on faith-based organizations.

Nonprofits
We serve nonprofit organizations with products and services to assess the effectiveness of their programs, improve their impact, and support their outreach to major donors with comprehensive, independent documentation. We provide analysis and insight in bound, investment grade reports that are written in a business style suitable for presentation to major donors or prospective donors.

We serve the assessment-related needs of:

  • Large national and international organizations
  • Faith-based organizations
  • Small, community-based charities
  • Organizations working in diverse sectors

We typically work with senior executives and/or board members, possibly the chairman.

In 2011, after ten years of service and conducting a pilot test, we revised our business model to serve nonprofit organizations in addition to donors.
